Ginger Beer lovers Etienne and Tom founded GC Brewing in 2026 after realizing the Netherlands lacks a good alcoholic Ginger Beer, crafted the traditional way, through the fermentation of ginger.

After many testing rounds in their kitchens in 's-Hertogenbosch and Weert, they finally found the perfect brew and moved their production to the Weerter stadsbrouwerij. There, they produce the Ginger Beer that we know today as Godwit and Chickadee Ginger Beer. 

The Godwit, or Grutto, is the national bird of the Netherlands. The Chickadee is a beloved state bird from Massachusetts in the United States. Together, they represent the founders and the journey that brought this company to life.
